Hi, I’m Bilal Syed—a Chicago-based graphic designer, illustrator, and production artist. I don’t just design for screens; I build visual experiences that bridge the digital and physical worlds. From striking digital illustration to massive physical signage, I specialize in crafting eye-catching brand identities that grab attention and drive results.
Currently, I work as a Production Artist & Graphic Designer at Signs By Tomorrow. In this role, I manage design projects from early concept to final, large-format physical production—handling everything from vehicle wraps and custom architectural signage to dimensional lettering and trade show displays. This hands-on experience means I understand exactly how a design functions in the real world, ensuring flawless brand consistency across every medium.
My foundation in design is paired with a B.S. in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing Communications from Illinois State University. Because of this background, I don't just focus on making things look stunning—I back my creativity with market research, creative strategy, and targeted visual storytelling.

This logo is created for branding purposes of my own work. I chose Playfair Display typeface for my personal brand logo to infuse a sense of elegance and sophistication into the design. The high contrast between thick and thin strokes, coupled with the classic serifs, projects a refined and professional image that aligns with my brand values of attention to detail and style. I also included textured brush strokes into my personal brand logo to infuse a sense of creativity and handcrafted uniqueness. These textured elements add a personal touch, conveying a bespoke and artistic quality that resonates with my creative identity and sets my logo apart in a visually compelling way.
