Client: Dale Coyne Racing / IndyCar
Project Goal:
To design and produce high-impact, technical large-format garage wall graphics for the 2026 Indy 500. The objective was to create a professional, high-energy environment for the #18 (Romain Grosjean) and #19 (Dennis Hauger) teams that prominently featured primary sponsors while maintaining a cohesive team identity on a global stage.
Key Requirements:
Sponsor Dominance: Integrate a complex hierarchy of sponsors including neuro.io, askROI, Bitcoin Max, and OnlyBulls.
Technical Precision: Ensure all team branding (Dale Coyne Racing) and driver-specific assets (numbers, names) are perfectly aligned across multiple large-scale panels.
High-Visibility Aesthetics: Utilize a high-contrast, performance-driven design (orange/black for #18 and lime green/black for #19) that remains legible in a fast-paced garage environment.
Print-Ready Execution: Deliver large-format vector artwork with precise bleed and technical specs for vinyl production.
Concept & Creative Strategy
Concept: "High-Velocity Professionalism." The strategy was to bridge the gap between aggressive motorsports energy and clean, technical branding.
Visual Execution:
Color Palette: Utilized a vibrant, "safety-first" contrast system. Deep blacks provide a grounded foundation, while bright orange (#18) and lime green (#19) serve as high-energy identifiers for each driver.
Layout Strategy: The design follows a strict horizontal grid to maximize visual "real estate" within the garage.
Upper Tier: Dedicated to primary partners (neuro.io, askROI) and the Indy 500 event mark, flanking the driver number.
Driver Identification: Clean, bold typographic bars featuring the driver's name and team logo for quick identification by pit crews and media.
Texture: Subtle halftone and carbon-fiber-inspired patterns were used in the background to provide depth without distracting from the branding.

Design Process & Role
Brand Asset Management: Organized and vectorized multiple high-tier sponsor logos, ensuring all brand guidelines were met while integrating them into the Dale Coyne Racing visual system.
Hierarchy Development: Developed a strategic layout that prioritized the team identity and the Indy 500 mark, ensuring the #18 and #19 numbers served as the primary anchor for each side of the garage.
Technical Production Art: Leveraged expertise in Adobe Illustrator to build the files to real-world scale. This involved meticulous path clean-up and color profile management (CMYK) to ensure the vibrant neon tones translated accurately to large-format vinyl.
Handoff & Implementation: Prepared final production-ready files with a specific focus on "performance-driven" design, ensuring all logos were perfectly crisp for high-resolution wide-format printing.
